Barcelona Activa is opening a new edition of the B-STEP programme, aimed at start-ups in the sector of sports and physical activity. The goal of this free programme is to help entrepreneurs validate their business model and launch their start-up in the direction of success.

WHAT IS B-STEP?

B-STEP is a programme in two stages:

1. Bootcamp: The twenty start-ups chosen will take part in an intensive five-day process from 10 to 14 March 2025, working on the definition of their business model. On the final day there’s a presentation in front of a jury, which will choose the 12 start-ups to access the full programme.
2. Incubator programme: For six months, the chosen start-ups will receive:
   • Free access to the co-working space at the Glòries Incubator (C/ Llacuna, 162).
   • Personalised advice and training.
   • Networking activities with key stakeholders in the sports ecosystem.
   • Support to strengthen their business model and foster synergies.

The programme concludes on 2 July 2025 with a closing event where a jury will award a prize of 5,000 euros to the most outstanding start-up.

With four previous editions, B-STEP has had 80 participants, promoted the creation of 30 companies and consolidated its role as a leading programme for sports start-ups.
