The Sant Gregori Taumaturg church attracts attention because of where it stands: the round square in Sarrià it is named after.

Cultural heritage

This is the only circular house of worship in the city, hence its unofficial name as “the round church”. Its large size and high columns reinforcing its vertical lines give it the appearance of an elevated temple, as if inhabited by the gods of ancient Rome. Its interior is bright and colourful thanks to the stained-glass windows designed by Joan Vila Grauper. The rest of the building is based on a design by Bartomeu Llongueres Gaí.
