Cultural heritage
The building on Carrer Jonqueres has changed little since its days as one of the biggest factories in Barcelona. Pedro Rojo, an Indiana maker, bought the land in 1779 to build a factory on. The structure had 3 floors and a patio that was later roofed over. It became the property of the Marti family during the 19th century. The factory-house model was very popular in Barcelona. It housed the director and technicians together with the working area, all around the patio, where all the activities were organised.
